I know I've been a terrible LJ friend, I don't have time to even check my flist anymore! :(

My older son is having problems with his grades and I'm helping him study, plus looking for a Therapist to help with his anxiety. He knows his stuff, but completely blanks at tests and school work, I have no idea why.

Also, I've been working in many commissions, and there's this one I can't publish for censorship reasons, which is taking most of my time. I will though, try to post the pictures when I rework them to a more "family" version. ;)

First of all I just wanted to say that I won't be checking LJ and haven't been checking it because I don't want to run into any spoilers for book 7. That happened to me when HBP came out and I certainly don't want to ruin the fun of reading the last book, so I've been avoiding internet altogether. I am though, working on commissions and if anyone would like to reach me, email me.

So I'm really sorry if I haven't been checking you guys journals. I will update original art today. I have been really busy redecorating my bedroom and the rest of the house, so I painted 4 pictures to hang on the walls. Click on image:

As for me, I'm going back to work, as I have a list of pictures to finish and I've been avoiding them too long.

You know, I was looking through my flist and I keep seeing people complaining about being tagged for memes and all that, I mean, I think it's cool if your friends are tagging you, it means that they want to know your opinion, or are interested in learning more about you, right? I think one should be sad when no one EVER tags them for silly memes, it makes one think they're not interesting enough or that no one cares what they think. Being ignored or not remembered sounds a lot worse to me...

Yay, I'm back and I've been trying to post about PR for the last two days, but couldn't find the time. ;) Thankfully now I'll post some pics. I had lots of fun and had a blast meeting sbrande and her sister Jenny, larilee, gypsy_morph, alauralen, hogwartshoney, among many others. But my new favorite person right now is droxy! She is absolutely fantastic and was one of the best canon Snapes I've ever seen!

We will never forget the "Bourbon Street bitches," after all, I'm proud to say that I was one. Severus Snape with about 9 adoring women surrounding him as he walked through Bourbon street, scowling at any man who dared look at us. It was priceless to see their expressions of surprise, at how that hooked nose guy, with lanky hair could have so many women following him with satisfied smiles on their faces.

I just want to let everyone know that we got here in New Orleans yesterday, and we're having loads of fun. The convention starts tonight with the Rythem Review. Will keep you updated.

I'm trying to find a ride back to Houston from New Orleans by the 21st, the last day of Phoenix Rising. I'm going with some friends on the 15th, but I still haven't decided how I will return. I'll probably buy a plane ticket, but if I could get a ride it would save me a lot of money. So, if you know of anyone who's from Houston or close to it, please, let me know. ;)
